Marcos Battisti
Marcos is a venture and growth capital investor who has been investing in technology since 1998. Prior to joining Kilonova Capital, Marcos held senior positions in top organisations like Intel Capital, C5 Capital and Skylake Capital. The latter being a deeptech fund founded by Marcos in 2019. Marcos learned the ropes of technology investing at Intel Capital, an organisation he joined in 1998 and stayed until 2016. Notably, from 2010 until his leaving in 2016, Marcos was the Managing Director for Western Europe & Israel, as well as, a voting member of Intel Capital’s worldwide investment committee. In 2013 Marcos was appointed as Vice President for Intel Capital.
During the past 25 years Marcos worked on a substantial number of transactions, amongst which Azure Solutions (acquired by Subex), eTel (acquired by Telecom Austria), Imagination technologies (publicly listed in the LSE), Silicon Hive (acquired by Intel), IPTego (acquired by AcmePacket), Aldebaran Robotics (acquired by Softbank), Anobit (acquired by Apple), Indisys (acquired by Intel), Omek (acquired by Intel), Tribold (acquired by Sigma Systems), FeedHenry (acquired by Red Hat), Tobii (publicly listed in Nasdaq Stockholm), Amplidata (acquired by Western Digital), Velostrata (acquired by Google), iZettle (acquired by Paypal) and many others.
Education
Marcos is a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer having graduated from the Polytechnic School of the University of Sao Paulo. Marcos holds an MBA from INSEAD.
